I am a female solo traveller, would like to ask if you think getting a taxi from the airport is safe for me.

this is a general question, and normally, YES :) you should be ok
But it can also depend on the city you visit and the time of the travel. If it's late night, of course it's not recommended to take a taxi by yourself.
also, it's very important what part of the city you visit.
Every big city or capital in East Africa has it's ups and downs, but if you care about yourself just "a little bit", of course it's safe.

Well, I arrive to Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi after midnight and I will need to get to the city. How much would the taxi cost approximately? Is there a taxi service I can call from the airport or do usually taxis park there?
Also, is there a way I can get to the city centre by public transport at that time? If yes, how much would that cost?
